Animangaki 2015: Animangaki Idol

Animangaki Idol is a singing competition in both solo and group. What makes it different from a standard singing competition is the fact that you not only gain points for singing well but also points for stage performance and crowd interaction. Just like a real idol. It’s definitely my favourite part about Animangaki for the past 3 years of attending AMG as every year we get to see veterans and new participants (sometimes with very high potential) compete with their singing and performance.

This year we had some new participants in addition to familiar faces and I was amazed by their performance.

Preliminaries

Participants were split into multiple groups. Only 1 participant will be selected from each group to advance to the finals. This year, judges were allowed to select 2 participants from any group who were not selected to advance as well a.k.a Wildcard.
